Terence Chow
Head, RBC Wealth Management – Asia
Terence Chow is Head of RBC Wealth Management – Asia. In this role, Terence is responsible for the wealth management businesses based in Hong Kong (SAR) and Singapore, servicing High Net-worth and Ultra High Net-worth investors, with a strategic focus on Asia’s Global Families.
Terence re-joined RBC in 2005, working in the bank’s Capital Markets division in a variety of different roles, ranging from strategy, planning, operations and project execution.
In 2015, Terence was appointed Vice President and Head of WM Operations Canada, expanding to include Asia in 2017, supporting the WM businesses in Canada, Asia, as well as Direct Investing. Most recently, Terence was COO, Wealth Management – Asia.
Terence holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and currently lives in Hong Kong with his wife Nicole.
Sebastian Enberg (Moderator)
Editor, Asian Private Banker
Sebastian Enberg is the Editor of Asian Private Banker. His background is in international politics, and Chinese foreign policy and security.
Sebastian graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Master of Strategic Studies majoring in Strategic Intelligence, and more recently, from the City University of Hong Kong with a Master of Arts. In 2012, Sebastian was awarded the university’s Top Scholar Prize for his cohort.

Arjan de Boer
Head of Markets & Investment Solutions, Asia, Indosuez Wealth Management
Drawing upon his extensive leadership experience and industry knowledge, Arjan is responsible for the entire products and services offering in Asia and overlooks the regional investment strategy.
Arjan started his financial career with Hollandsche Bank Unie (HBU), serving Private, Corporate and Institutional clients within a dealing room environment, and subsequently became Head of Treasury & Special Products Private Clients in the Netherlands.
He has over 14 years of experience with ABN AMRO Private Banking, of which more than 7 years were spent in Asia. In early 2006, he relocated to Singapore to take up the position of Regional Head of Treasury & Special Products for Private Banking in Asia with ABN AMRO.
With his strong understanding of the needs of Asian clients, Arjan moved to Hong Kong in April 2010 and was appointed Head of Private Banking for North Asia. Following this, he was appointed Head of North Asia at ANZ Private Bank before being appointed Head of Integration for ANZ Retail & Private Wealth Asia in April 2016.
Arjan was appointed Head of Markets & Investment Solutions Asia at Indosuez Wealth Management in February 2017.
Arjan graduated with a Master of Science in Business Economics from Nyenrode University, the Netherlands.
Marc Bindschädler
Client Portfolio Manager, Executive Director, Vontobel Asset Management
Marc Bindschädler joined Vontobel Asset Management in December 2011. He is Client Portfolio Manager for the mtx franchise. Prior to his current role, he worked as Senior Relationship Manager for Swiss intermediary clients.
Before joining Vontobel Asset Management, from 2010 to 2011, Marc Bindschädler worked as product specialist for sustainability investing at UBS Wealth Management. From 2006 to 2010, he worked as Product Specialist and Relationship Manager at SAM Sustainable Asset Management. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2006, he held various relationship management positions at UBS Asset Management.
Marc Bindschädler holds a degree in business administration from the Marketing and Business School Zurich.
Charlene Cong, CFA (Moderator)
Deputy Editor, Asian Private Banker
Charlene is an experienced, multi-lingual journalist covering global financial markets from both top-down and bottom-up perspectives. With an in-depth understanding of different asset classes and investment solutions, she is responsible for the coverage of capital markets, funds and structured products for the region’s private wealth management industry.
Charlene has an established track record of generating exclusive and impactful financial features and has been a contributor to various functions, hosting and moderating panels with C-suite leaders of the investment community.
She holds a master’s degree from the University of Hong Kong and is a CFA Charterholder. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
