“We are facing a human crisis unlike any we have experienced….[as our (sic)] social fabric and cohesion is under stress,” were words from the mouth of UN Deputy-Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed, at the very start of the crisis in April this year.
Along with other financial institutions, private banks across the globe had little time or experience to react to the rapidly changing business and work environments to ensure as smooth a navigation as possible surrounding the impact of COVID-19, not only for their own institutions, but simultaneously for those of their clients.
How have private bank leaders changed their modus operandi during such challenging times? How did they cope in informing their staff, maintaining morale and not only sustaining operations, but augmenting their services and products? What lessons have been learnt and how will these experiences manifest in operational activity for the future?
