What was behind the judges’ decision?
- With over two decades of commitment to driving impact, UBS started its Optimus Foundation in 1999. It aims to connect clients with inspiring entrepreneurs, new technologies, and proven models that seek to make a measurable, long-term difference to the most serious and enduring social and environmental problems. During the review period, UBS demonstrated how its over 130 philanthropy experts have assisted its clients in different ways
- UBS also recognises the need to help the next generation to understand more about philanthropy by providing education to the next generation and equipping them with valuable opportunities and resources
- The judging panel is also impressed by UBS’s offering in the donor-advised fund channel, which is exclusive for UBS clients, with no set-up for annual fees, and UBS will cover the administration costs
