What was behind the judges’ decision?
- SCB Julius Baer’s business growth has surpassed the achievements of 2022, with its UHNW segment demonstrating consistent growth in Thailand and wealth planning revenues reaching new highs. The group is also expanding its secondgeneration community with the launch of The 45 Academia, designed for the leaders of tomorrow. This programme, with a strong focus on ESG, has attracted more female participants
- SCB Julius Baer achieved the highest international discretionary portfolio management penetration in Thailand. The wealth manager is seeing more Thai AUM classified as sustainable investments, which is still a nascent investing approach in the country. Additionally, the team launched its third Foreign Investment Fund backed by Julius Baer Fund Management
- Amid unchanged leadership since 2019, the team plans to hire more relationship managers, investment advisors, and ThaiSEC licensed fund managers in Thailand this year. The bank has also designed a development programme to train SCB bankers with a detailed career roadmap into international wealth management
