We are delighted to win this award for Best Private Bank – Investment Advisory for a third consecutive year. And winning for 2022 — a year of synchronized bear markets in stocks and bonds — is an especially deep recognition of how closely aligned our investment offering is with the needs of clients, not only in good times, but also when times are tough.

All the investment services teams worked tirelessly last year to ensure clients received the best investment advice — whether at asset allocation, portfolio, asset class, or instrument level. Our teams never stopped innovating throughout the year, generating significant interest in new solutions focused on helping clients navigate a challenging investment environment.

What was behind the judges’ decision?

  • The judging panel is of the view that in Asia-Pacific, BNP Paribas Wealth Management provides one of the most comprehensive, all-encompassing range of solutions and services across asset classes, as well as advisory and discretionary mandates
  • The bank was able to demonstrate to the judging panel how it effectively utilises the capabilities of the wider BNP Paribas group in terms of investments, advice and execution. Examples of this include research and liquidity from the investment bank; structured products across relevant and tailored equity themes; and a substantial number of trading counterparties to ensure competitive pricing and access to new trading ideas
  • In the opinion of the judging panel, BNP Paribas Wealth Management leads the way in terms of penetration of ESG assets in its regional client base. The vast majority of its assets in Asia-Pacific have now been given an ESG score using its robust methodology, which comprises third-party data, internal research, and direct issuer engagement
