What was behind the judges’ decision?

  • HSBC Global Private Banking clearly articulated a comprehensive approach in delivering “best-of-both worlds” solutions to HNW clients, combining a high-touch service with digital tools and access to market-leading content. This was most evident in its “one single advisor” model, where the client has one touch-point that serves all their wealth needs
  • The bank was able to convincingly argue that its HNW proposition is contributing a meaningful and growing proportion of the overall wealth business on a net new money and revenue basis
  • Market-leading product suite of solutions and clear evidence of being able to re-orient, improve and adjust this according to prevailing market conditions, including substantially strengthened alternatives offering, which itself enjoyed record fundraising during the period under consideration

HSBC Global Private Banking took home the spoils for the first time in the category for Best Private Bank – Asia Pacific HNW, reflecting a deepening commitment to HNW clients across the region, said Daniel Shane, editor of Asian Private Banker.
