I’m incredibly proud that NAB Private Wealth has been honoured for the second year in a row for its outstanding leadership, performance and client service.

Of course, our priority is to continue focusing on the most important thing of all – delivering for clients.

What was behind the judges’ decision?

  • NAB Private Wealth enjoyed strong growth in both AUM and net new assets during the period under consideration, with a particularly notable rise in deposits and home lending. That result was in part due to the acquisition of Citi’s wealth business in Australia, but also highlighted how NAB Private Wealth’s strategy of providing highly personalised and tailored investment advice and solutions is resonating with the country’s U/HNWI community
  • NAB has more closely integrated private wealth and business banking via its new ‘Team of 4’ model, which consists of specialists in personalised lending, investment, advice and business banking to better serve the sometimes competing interests of Australia entrepreneurs across private wealth and corporate banking
  • During the period under consideration, NAB Private Wealth considerably expanded its value-proposition in terms of philanthropy and ESG. Milestones included the launch of an innovative suite of ESG-focused ETFs alongside BlackRock, as well as a strategic alliance with Lombard Odier

What we said

Since winning the prestigious Best Domestic Private Bank – Australia accolade at the 2021 Asian Private Banker 11th Awards for Distinction, NAB Private Wealth has consolidated its position in Australia’s wealth industry, while expanding on its already market-leading proposition. The proof of this can be seen in its rising wallet share, client count and funds under management, said Carly Lau, reporter, Asian Private Banker, and member of the judging panel.
